Why Fundraisers?
It’s a common story these days; due to Covid, publishing costs continue to rise, making it harder for indie publishers to keep costs low while competing with big time publishing companies.
The best way to compete in the market is to have the highest quality product, which usually means paying for services like graphic design, editing, and even marketing help to further our reach. These services are provided by companies and individuals who are also working around the inflation and having to charge more for their services.
Printing costs have also increased multiple times since the onset of Covid which either eats away from the author’s minimal royalties, or results in authors having to increase their retail prices. Needless to say, it’s been a hard year for a lot of indies. Your support means more books, and The Kingdom Come Series, continued.
